Some would construe life as a long, slow process toward self-understanding. I had a mini-enlightenment today whilst at work. Those who know me well, hold your snigger…if you can.
It all came from a piece of software with a simple aim: to find duplicate files in a number of selected locations. It’s called Duplicate File Detective by Key Metric Software. It is nothing short of brilliant!

I’ve only needed to use the software a couple of times over the past few years but its one of the best purchases I have ever made. It’s saved me literally dozens of hours on these two occasions, maybe more.
I’m a bit of a saddo when it comes to technology but the ease of use and power of the tool is literally orgasmic to me! Thanks to Key Metric Software for developing it.
For anyone that wants to invest just a small amount of money to save hours of time sorting through hundreds of possibly duplicated files (if you can locate them in the first place!), you can find it here:

Sean Barkes saddo? Definitely! Looks like a great piece of software though. Might look into using it myself. Cheers for the heads up.
